DiscoverStation 5.0 Sneak Peak: What's on the Horizon?

Userful's DiscoverStation 5 is due out in early 2007 and will includes a number of exciting enhancements including: accelerated performance, broader hardware support, numerous interface improvements such as easier access to commonly used applications, improved print handling and improved multi-lingual support. In addition, DiscoverStation 5 will include DiscoverStation Extensions (powerful options that help you get the most out of your DiscoverStation investment) the first of these options will be DiscoverPrint (integrated print release capability), DiscoverAssist (in its final release including support on all major web browsers including Internet Explorer) and Advanced Web Reporting.

People behind DiscoverStation: Laurie Reeves

Laurie Reeves is the DiscoverStation Lead Developer and all around miracle worker. He?s working very hard at the upcoming new DiscoverStation release, but took a moment to answer a few questions for us.

What are you working on currently?
I am currently working on the new version of DiscoverStation, 5.0. This new version will update to the new Fedora Core 6, as well as bring in a great deal of bug fixes and other tweaks.

Where is your favorite vacation spot?
I've enjoyed my recent vacations to Rochester NY, and Dominican Republic. I also regularly visit the west coast, as that is where both my brothers live.

What are you passionate about?
My wife, Tammy.

What are your hobbies?
Car audio, biking, computers. Tinkering with said items. I follow motor sports, mainly Formula 1 and Nascar. I also play video games, FPS on PC and racing on PS2.

What is your favourite book?
The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien. I was stoked to learn that Peter Jackson is going to be doing a movie.
